about us

Heart Magic was founded in 1998 by Documentary film maker Kim Kindersley and Philanthropist Elaine Seiler. Heart Magic was originally set up to assist the Aborigines in Australia, specifically the Mirning People, who were declared extinct in the 1950’s. Since then, we have helped raise funds for the Dalai Lama’s school in Nepal, and have forged relationships with the Pierce Brosnan Family Foundation, Greenpeace, IFAW, Whaleman Foundation and Planet Ark, among others. Current efforts are centered on connecting celebrities and people all over the world with causes and issues that matter. We will use multimedia presentations to bring attention to indigenous issues, forests and trees, whales and dolphins, and humanitarian issues.

These Organizations & Projects include:

  • Amazon Watch
  • The Whaleman Foundation
  • Planet Ark Australia
  • The Sovereign Dine'h Nation
  • The International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW)

For further information, please visit our links page. Heart Magic's main aim is to educate and inspire people on many different issues through the media.

  • Heart Magic has raised awareness for Indigenous people in Australia, the U.S.A. and Colombia, who struggle to regain or retain ancestral rights to their Traditional lands and to protect themselves from the exploitation of their natural resources - typically coal, oil and uranium. We endeavor to help organizations that help these Tribal people restore peace in their hearts and lands.
  • Heart Magic has produced documentaries and events for which we feel greatly rewarded.

· 1993: "The Dolphin's Story" Finalist in the 1997 Television Awards, Best Director
· 1994: "Dolphin - A Magical Musical Mystery" Other films completed include:
· 1996: "Sacred Fire" - co-produced, with Kia Miller (an expose of the Chernobyl disaster)
· 1998: "Julian Lennon Story" for Channel V Australia.
· 1999: "Vanishing Prayer"
· 2004: "The Gathering" in post production with ABC Australia

Kim Kindersley traveled to Dharamsala as a guest of Pierce Brosnan. "It was an incredible journey into the heart….everyone we met was so beautiful, kind and full of forgiveness. The Tibetans truly have so much to teach the world…it is so important that we support their continued survival."

The trip was organized by Dennis Cusack of the Tibet Justice Center. Click here to read more about Tibet.
